SASR

THIS IS A HYBRID EVENT

Title:  The ABC’s of Effective Communication: Learn to See What Every “Body” is Saying

Abstract:

In a world where communication is necessary, choosing the right words to speak is important but what happens when the body lacks congruency? The effect of poor communication often leads to misunderstandings and unsatisfactory outcomes. This inspiring keynote offers real-world verbal and nonverbal communication techniques to help build trust and increase self-awareness in a variety of circumstances that you can walk away with and use instantly!

Objectives:

1. Active listening fosters trust and builds relationships, learn some easy tips that many are missing.

2. Body language is often misinterpreted or ignored; let me show you what is being said regardless of the words being used.

3. Congruency should be properly aligned between verbal and nonverbal communication; recognize indicators that may represent deception.
